It's no longer a matter of "what is he doing?" but rather, "what isn't he doing?"
His hands (or feet!) are on everything, and I'm finding that at this stage it's very important to set certain expectations. Uly is a very sweet little boy and mindful too, for the most part. I allow him a lot of room for exploration (some would say too much room...) so there aren't many things/places that are off limits, but when he is warned of something forbidden he usually points at whatever it is and grunts "hmm?" just to make sure... :)
A dirty baby is a healthy baby. And by this I mean dirty as in dirt, not filth. I like to see a nice, fat little baby coated in it. It has been hard achieve this because of the mosquito population explosion in our back yard, but we try. There aren't many mosquito's at Grandma Moe's so we're trying to spend more time outdoors over there.
Today we went to the library were there was a little outdoor party going on for the kids who completed the summer reading/listening program. Uly listened to 15 books (at least!) and so he was able to attend the party and received a little bag with stickers, crayons, coupons for ice cream and such, and he got to pick out a book. He chose The House That Jack Built. Thank you Moe for filling out the book list for us :D
