Leaded or Unleaded?
Yesterday we got a call from Uly's pediatrician informing us that a screening test performed at his 9 month check-up was positive for elevated lead levels (1 point under what is considered cause for concern). This morning we'll be taking him for additional testing for accuracy. This is baffling. Poor kid.

9 Months check-up
And we're doing great!
Here is a list of many exciting things happing in Uly's life at this time:
Babbling, says Mama, Dada, Bahbah
cruising furniture
self finger-feeding
He has a total of 6 emerged teeth
and many, many more! (too many to list while Uly is awake and trying to take over the keyboard)

Teething
Teething. It's a wonder any of us get through this. Poor Uly is working hard to get these next chompers out but they are really putting him through it.
More pictures to come, taken on the days/times when he's not fussing over his mouth...

Everything New
Uly is asleep so I'll try and update quickly before he wakes...
This has been another week full of "firsts". Uly has been waving hi and goodbye for a few weeks now, but yesterday he said bye-bye to Grandma Moe. He also said Da-da yesterday (which he's been saying casually in addition to Mama), but he said it when he really, really wanted his Daddy. He has also started saying "hey!" as a greeting.
Uly is now awake so I'm gonna have to cut this short. Maybe I'll add more later.
